Cork City Marathon

Cork City Marathon is a race that takes place in June every year.

Many people who race raise money for a charity that they choose.

You can raise money by asking for sponsorship from friends and family to race.

Money raised through sponsorship can be donated to Cope Foundation.

Cope Foundation provide sponsorship cards and t shirts to people who take part.

The Cork City Marathon will take place on Sunday, 4th June 2017. There are a number of ways you can take part:

Full marathon (26.2 miles)

Half marathon (13.1 miles)

Team Relay (team of 2 to 5 people and you must be 18 years of age or over). Find out more here: http://www.corkcitymarathon.ie/team-relay/

Golf Classic

Every August there is a Golf Classic to raise money for Cope Foundation.

People can pay to enter their team into the tournament to play against other teams.

Entry fees paid by teams taking part in the Golf Classic is donated to Cope Foundation.

Flag Days

Flag days are fundraising that happen every year in March.

Volunteers collect donations in Cork City centre and in shopping centres around Cork.

People who donate are given Shamrock badges for their donations.


Flowers of Hope

Flowers of Hope are envelopes filled with flower seeds.

During May and June Cope Foundation sends out these envelopes.

These are delivered across Cork City and County by volunteers.

After getting an envelope people send money in return for the flower seeds.

Pre paid envelopes are included so that any donations given can be posted back to Cope Foundation for free.


Evening Echo Women's Mini Marathon

Evening Echo Women's Mini Marathon is a race that takes place in September every year.

Many people who race raise money for a charity that they choose.

You can raise money by asking for sponsorship from friends and family to race.

Money raised through sponsorship can be donated to Cope Foundation.

Cope Foundation provide sponsorship cards and t shirts to people who take part.


Super Christmas Draw

Cope Foundation has a Super Christmas Draw that takes place every December.

People can buy tickets to enter the draw and have a chance of winning a prize.

Money raised from ticket sales in donated to Cope Foundation.
