From an infrastructure perspective, COPE Foundation is constantly striving to ensure that it has appropriate facilities in place at the appropriate time to meet the changing and unmet needs of its existing client population and the emerging needs of others from within its catchment areas of Cork City and County. Ongoing and new projects which have capital committments of 18.5 million euro are as follows:
Hollyhill, Cork

The refurbishment of Hollyhill Day Centre and  houses to meet the changing needs of 60 adults who have high dependency needs is fully complete an occupied.



Deerpark, Friar’s Walk, Cork city

This development will provide additional residential capacity to meet some of the identified emerging needs  to support adults with intellectual disability who currently attend adult day services throughout the city.  This facility is currenly under development and is due foe completion in September 2009.

Bandon, Co. Cork

This development will provide replacement accomodation for 12 persons with Intellectual disability who attend day services in Cope Foundation's Clonakilty Centre. Construction of this facility has commenced and is due for completion in August 2009.

Honan Home.Montenotte, Cork

This property, which immediately adjoins our Montenotte Complex, has been acquired to provide up to 38 f residential places for elderly clients from within our existing client population. Planning permission for this development has been granted.

Mayfield Development

A series of domestic scale housing has been designed and is currently going through the planning process.
