Cope Foundation Christmas Draw

1.    The Promoter under licence No. D:LIC:CORKD:2020:003535 granted by Cork City District Court on 31 July 2020 is Cope Foundation, a company limited by guarantee incorporated under the laws of Ireland with registered number 17844 (registered charity number CHY5288) having its registered address at Bonnington, Montenotte, Cork. T23PT93.

2.    The Cope Foundation Christmas Draw (the "Christmas Draw") is open to people aged 18 and over as at the date of each draw and who enter the draw online at www.iDonate.ie/raffle/CopesVeryCorkChristmas

3.    Entry into the Christmas Draw will be deemed to be a full and unconditional acceptance by the entrant of these Terms and Conditions of this competition. A failure to adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Christmas Draw and, if applicable, forfeiture of the prize(s).

4.    To enter the Christmas Draw, you must complete the online entry form and submit your name, email address and payment details. Each entry costs €5.

6.    The Christmas Draw will involve a series of draws for four separate prizes taking place over the course of four weeks. Each valid entry will be automatically entered into one of the four draws. Each ticket is valid for only one of the four draws. The date on which each ticket is purchased will determine the draw said ticket is entered into. Only valid entries within the time periods set out below will be considered for each respective draw:

a.    Draw 1: Open to entries from 12:00AM on 23.11.2020 – 11:59PM on 29.11.2020

b.    Draw 2: Open to entries from 12:00AM on 30.11.2020 – 11:59PM on 06.12.2020

c.    Draw 3: Open to entries from 12:00AM on 07.12.2020 – 11:59PM on 13.12.2020

d.    Draw 4: Open to entries from 12:00AM on 14.12.2020 – 10:00PM on 20.12.2020

7.    Cope Foundation and its’ agents accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

8.    Completed entry to the Christmas Draw will result in an e-mail notification delivered to the email address used in the online form. This must be retained for the duration of the Christmas Draw as proof of entry.

9.    The closing date for the following weekly draws is 11:59PM on the following dates:

a.      Draw 1: 29.11.2020

b.      Draw 2: 06.12.2020

c.       Draw 3: 13.12.2020

d.      The closing date for Draw 4 is 20.12.2020 at 10:00PM.

10. One winner for each draw will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  The draw will be performed by a random computer process.  The random selection of the winner of the following draws will take place at 9:30am on the following dates:

a.    Draw 1: 30.11.2020

b.    Draw 2: 07.12.2020

c.    Draw 3: 14.12.2020

d.    The random selection of the winner of Draw 4 will take place at 10:01pm on 20.12.2020 with the winner being announced on 21.12.2020.

11. The winner of each draw will be notified by phone (if available) or email as soon as reasonably practicable following each draw. The name of each winner will also be announced on social media and the Cope Foundation website. 

12. All entrants to the Christmas Draw will be included in a further draw, separate to the draws outlined at 10 above, to win a number of spot prizes. The random selection of the winners of the spot prizes will take place at 11pm on 20.12.2020 and the winners will be announced on 21.12.2020.

13. Cope Foundation and its’ agents are not liable for any loss, damage or injury that might occur to the winner resulting from his or her acceptance of any prize.

14. Each winner may have to provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to Cope Foundation within 14 days of being notified by Cope Foundation then the winner's prize will be forfeited and Cope Foundation shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.  If a winner rejects their prize or if the entry is invalid or is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner's prize will be forfeited and Cope Foundation shall be entitled to select another winner.

15. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

16. Cope Foundation retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.

17. By opting-in to receive communications from Cope Foundation’s Communications and Fundraising Department, you consent to the receipt of marketing communications that we think may interest you. You will be given the opportunity to opt out of receiving marketing communications and/or select your communication preferences before submitting your entry. You will always be given the opportunity to unsubscribe on every communication that we send.

18. Entrants agree and give consent that, if they win, each winner may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Christmas Draw and entrants agree to participate in publicity as reasonably requested surrounding the promotion.  Entrants consent to the use by Cope Foundation both before and after the closing dates of the Christmas Draw, of each winner's voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by Cope Foundation and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Christmas Draw, all entrants consent to same.

19. Cope Foundation shall process and use personal information you supply to it as described in its Communications and Fundraising Department Privacy Statement, a copy of which can be seen here, and in accordance with data protection legislation.  By entering the Christmas Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Christmas Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 17 above.

20. Cope Foundation accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Christmas Draw or accepting the prize(s). Cope Foundation’s total liability in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise arising out of or in connection with or in relation to these terms and conditions or arising out of or in connection with or in relation to any non-contractual arrangement shall be limited to the amount actually paid or payable by the entrant for each ticket.

21. Cope Foundation reserves the right to amend, withdraw or terminate the Christmas Draw or alter the Christmas Draw at any time without prior notice in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control.

22. Entry to the Christmas Draw is on a platform provided by a third party provider, iDonate. Entrants to the Christmas Draw must accept the terms and conditions and also the terms and conditions of iDonate which can be viewed here along with iDonate’s Privacy Statement which can be viewed here.

23. The terms and conditions herein are governed by Irish law and the Promoter and the entrants to the Christmas Draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
