What We Do

Early Intervention

Early Intervention is for children with an intellectual disability from birth to 6 years of age.

Children can be referred to Cope Foundation's Early Intervention Service by many different health professionals such as their doctor or a public health nurse.

A referral is when a health professional recommends a service to their patient.

After referral the Early Intervention Team visit the child to make sure they get all the correct supports.

Early Intervention Team

The Early Intervention Team is an interdisciplinary team that supports young children in many ways.

Members of the Early Intervention team provide each child with the right supports for them.

Cope Foundation has its own Pre-School called Rainbow Lodge.

Supports are also available for children in community Pre-Schools.
