Where Fundraising money goes
2017
€841,000 was raised in 2017.
Money raised was used to pay off the cost of major projects completed in the last three years, such as:
Upgrade to our short breaks house in Skibbereen.
Our beautiful Summerstown Apartments
Purchase of vehicles and items of equipment needed.
In 2017 78% of fundraising money raised went directly to services and supports.
8% of fundraising money paid for fundraising expenses like advertising events, printing and postage.
14% of fundraising money went towards paying fundraising staff.
This salary pay is in line with the Department of Health’s pay scales.
