Sundays Well Rebels are on tour with their Mixed Ability Rugby World Tournament Cup.

The team have already visited Kilbarry National School in Macroom, Our Lady of Good Consel in Ballincollig, St. Paul’s School in Montenotte and Scoil Bernadette in Montenotte.

Next Saturday the team will present the cup to the crowd at Irish Independent Park during half time of the Munster rugby match.

Munster vs Cardiff Blues at Irish Independent Park will kick off at 1.30pm on Saturday 17th October.

Sundays Well Rebels are Ireland’s first ever Mixed Ability Rugby Team.

Mixed Ability Rugby is a full contact game played with teams made from players with and without intellectual disabilities.

Sundays Well Rebels became the first ever World Champions of Mixed Ability Rugby at an international tournament in the United Kingdom last August.

Sundays Well R.F.C. and Cope Foundation have teamed up to create a video about the team and their journey in the tournament.

This video is in a competition called “Better Together”.

The winner is decided by votes.

You can vote once a day everyday until Friday 20th November.

We appreciate your support and we would like everyone to vote for us as much as possible.
